Captain Stephen Flook Jr.
Fishing has been a part of my life since childhood, and turning it into a profession has been a lifelong goal. I have received a Bachelor’s of Science in Outdoor Leadership from North Greenville University focused on outdoor education to be the best I can be. I spend 250–300 days a year on the water, constantly refining my skills and chasing redfish in tournaments from North Carolina to Louisiana.
I believe fishing should be fun, relaxed, and full of laughs—but when it comes to putting you on fish, I take that responsibility seriously. I enjoy teaching, sharing knowledge, and helping anglers of all skill levels improve their game. My goal is simple: give you the best experience possible and a day on the water you’ll want to repeat. Let’s go fishing.

Stephen knows the intricacies of Lowcountry Redfishing. From winding tidal creeks & expansive marshes to open flats and estuaries, the marshes from Charleston to Georgetown offers unique fishing opportunities & seasonal patterns.
Year-Round Angling Opportunities
December-March
My favorite time to catch redfish. Epic Redfishing with artificial lures/flies. Clear water sight-fishing opportunities and lots of numbers, fish up to 34". Backwater bonanza.
March-May
Great fishing for Redfish and Speckled Trout.
Artificials & Live bait. Topwater Fishing is very good
April-Early June.
June-August
Good topwater fishing early in the mornings. Lower fish count but more variety and opportunities to catch trophy fish. Flood Tide tailing Redfish opportunities. Trophy Bull Redfish (40" and up) Shark fishing.
September-November
Great redfishing on artificial lures. Great Speckled Trout fishing.
Bull redfish. Mullet Run in September.

Where do I park?
405 Pinckney St, McClellanville, SC 29458
You will park in the single car parking area across from the town hall, by the playground, or on the side of Pinckney road. The gravel lot by the boat ramp is for trailer vehicles only. You will get towed if you park in the gravel lot.
Where do I meet the Captain?
You will meet Captain Stephen on the boat dock next to the boat ramp.
Can I keep the fish?
Unashamed Adventures practices catch and release on ALL Redfish and highly prefers catch and release on all species.
What boat are we fishing out of?
We will be fishing out of my 2025 East Cape 18ft Evo X.
What is the Cancellation Policy?
Please contact the Captain as soon as possible if your trip needs to be rescheduled
Half Day and Full Day Trip (Deposits are non-refundable.)
If you reschedule more than 7 days before your trip, your deposit will go towards a future trip.
If you cancel within 7 days of your trip you will be charged the full charter amount.
What is your Weather Policy?
The captain closely monitors the weather. If unsafe weather conditions arise, the captain will contact you to reschedule the trip.
What kind of equipment will we be using?
Top shelf Shimano & Penn Reels, Icast award winning Fitzgerald Flatsclass series rods, quality line from Diamond & Power Pro, Fly fishing equipment from Hardy, and a plethora of artificial lures from Zman Fishing Products.
